"George W. Bush is so incompetent that he failed to poop in my pants, although he did poop near my pants. He then later claimed that he had never intended to poop in my pants and that no one in his administration had ever talked about pooping in anyone’s pants. Having seen his poop I can report that it looks exactly like bullshit."

STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING AND WATCH THIS.

Tumblr is usually a great way of spreading awareness and so often we can make a change. Please watch this, reblog it or whatever, just please sign this petition, it’s to help save the lives of millions of dogs and cats killed in the most awful ways China every year. Just by watching this video you’ll see some of the disgustingly sadistic ways in which they torture and kill these poor animals. They cook and skin them ALIVE, and then leave them to die. Don’t watch this film if you can’t handle blood or violence, because this video shows you just how cruel people can be. If you do one thing today, please sign this petition, you could be saving lives.

How does ‘diagonally’ sound more like ‘Knockturn Alley’ than ‘Diagon Alley’?

ROFL I’m not sure if this is meant to be a sarcastic post or whatever (I don’t get sarcasm well on the internet XD) but it literally just means transport him DIAGONALLY which means he happens to turn up in Knockturn Alley. I think?

    Explaining my url name

Wow I’ve posted two things today. Today’s a busy day indeed.

But yeah, it comes from a song called Darling I Do and the song is a typical love song although it has really beautiful harmonies so I suggest checking it out if you like :)

The phrase “plenty of people with eyes closed” really struck me though. In the song, it suggests that everyone has there eyes closed to the person the song describes but to me, it means something more than that. Sure, it shows how sometimes people will block out or purposely misinterpet someone for whatever reasons, but it also shows the way we deal with things in real life.

Again, I remember reading somewhere in a book that if someone cared about all the deaths, dying and disaster in the world, they would be “crazier than a shithouse rat”. We ignore news the whole time. Each new day there is a new headline somewhere, outlining some of the darker aspects of our world. Each new day, we ignore these things since we know they will depress us. On tumblr, I find myself becoming very aware of things going on in the world. But even on here, I don’t choose to reblog all of these things.

Because, at the end of the day, you have to close your eyes sometimes. You can’t live your life worrying about everyone, but do we really keep our eyes open long enough? Do we really keep our eyes open for everything? Do we open our eyes towards the news, history, to the feelings of our friends and family? Or are our eyes shut in ways that we will never be able to open them due to our very self-preserving nature? Are there plenty of people with eyes closed or is it just me shutting out the very harsh reality of the world around me? I don’t know. I’M TIRED AND SLEEP DEPRIVED OKAY?!

It’s just weird. I find myself purposely shutting my eyes to the world around me. Walking past a busker in the street, never thinking twice. It is just so easy to do. I seem to be walking around the world just looking through tiny slits of my eyes, never being able to see more than the things I choose to see. I think that applies to everyone. Well, I hope it does. Or else I’m the only person shutting stuff out. That’d be awkward.

Just try to keep your eyes open as wide as possible. Remember, it’s okay to blink or else you’ll never be able keep them open for long. well that metaphor failed. ahh well. And when I say you, I mean me. So don’t take it as a personal attack or anything.

Thanks for reading. If you did.

    AWKWARD MOMENT #1

I had a rehearsal today with a music teacher at my school for this concert I am taking part in. It meant I had to get to school at 8:00 (that is RIDICULOUS for me) and yeah.

So anyway, I’ve grabbed my music folder and clarinet, walk to school at a leisurely pace - so far, everything’s dandy.

Then I realise I’ve forgotten to actually put my music in the folder.

I dump my bags on the nearest bag rack (these shelve in the corridor that hold bags), put my clarinet on there too (it was okay, thank goodness) and literally RUN home. I fall over on the way but get up again and keep on running LIKE A BOSS.

Red and sweating but with music in hand, I race down the corridor, grab my bags and turn around to see my maths teacher behind me. He says, and I quotes, “Nice running.” Thanks, sir. Great. I don’t know whether he saw the trip or not. I pray for the latter.

    FUN TIMES.
